Friday, September 10

Wave 94.7 will be out at the City of Hamilton's, Water Distribution Charity Golf Tournament at Scenic Woods Golf Club in support of McMaster Sick Kids Hospital.

It's time to get ready for the MS Mississauga Chapter's 10th Annual Charity Golf Classic at the Royal Ontario Golf Club presented by AtlasCare! On Tuesday, September 14th join us for lunch, an afternoon of great golf and a delicious dinner with a chance to win some terrific raffle prizes and bid on some super silent auction items. Registration and Driving Range: 10:00 - 11:00 am, Lunch: 11:00 am - noon, Tee Off Shotgun at 12:15 pm. Lace up for Life! Spend a wonderful day with your family and friends at Bayfront Park on Sunday September 19, 2010 at the Heart and Stroke Foundation's Walk for Heart! Choose to walk 2.5K or 5K. Sunrise Senior Living of Burlington, Lowville Golf Club and the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton are hosting the Forget a Hole Golf Tournament on September 21st at Lowville Golf Club. The Alzheimer Foundation was formed to raise, invest and manage funds to support the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton.  The proceeds raised in the tournament will be donated towards research and to community programming that assists those who suffer from this disease, their care givers and their families. The Amazing Bed Race in support of Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation and The Rotary Club of Burlington North happens Sunday, September 26th at the City Hall, Burlington. In the spirit of community, Families, Business and Community Organizations will have a fun-filled day raising money for The Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation and The Rotary Club of Burlington North, by racing "beds" down Brant Street between Caroline and Elgin in pursuit of bragging rights as the Grand Bed Racing Champion! Teams will fundraise, build or rent a bed, decorate it and race it in elimination-style heats until a winner is declared. As well as bragging rights for the fastest bed - The Grand Champion, prizes will be awarded in the areas of Fundraising, fastest bed in various categories, and the Best Decorated Bed.
